It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved Canon Mama Anjilina Odago Miyawa, who went to be with the Lord on 23rd August 2026.
Loving wife of the late Jekonia Miyawa Ondiek of Ayewyo Village.
Daughter of the late Fauel Seda Nyagweth and the late Herina Ayugi Nyalelo of Kolwa Kasule.
Devoted mother of Monicah Akumu, Jared Obongo, Wilson Sure, David Ondiek, Arch Deacon Pamela Opijo, Architect Isaac Miyawa, Elly Miyawa, Dr. Maxwell Miyawa and the late Hera Achien.
She leaves behind 60 grandchildren and over 60 great-grandchildren.
Prayers will be held at CCA Uhuru on 9th September 2026. The final Harambee will be held at United Kenya Club on 9th September 2026.

The body will leave Montezuma on 10th September 2026 for prayers at Dala Hera, Kisumu, on the same day. She will be laid to rest on 12th September 2026 at her home in Ayewyo-Waswa, Nyando Sub-County.
You have fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. Rest in eternal peace, Canon Mama Anjilina Odago Miyawa.
