We humbly accept God’s will as we announce the passing of Augustine Kwedho Okoiti, formerly of the Directorate of Immigration Services, on 12th August 2026, after a sudden death.

He was the son of the late Honorati Okoiti and the late Perpetua Okoiti.

Brother of Veronica, the late Mary, Josephine, the late Sophie, Rosa and Paul.

He was the beloved husband of the late Consolata Masbaiy Kwedho.

Loving parent of the late Godrick, David (AL AMAL Agencies), Daniel (Central Bank), Darius (USA), Dalmas (Modern Office), the late Jackline, Aaron (Crown Palnts), Miriam (Stern Ingr E.A.), Benjamin (Qatar), and Dellah.

Father-in-law of Dorine, Hope, Peris, Gladys, Eunice, Michael, and Kapten.

Grandfather of Wendy, Kendi, Tom, Consolata, Candi, the late Adrian Augustine, Trista, Nathan, Kyla, Israel, Jabali, Barbara, Dylan, Khloe, Natasha, Augustine, Natalia, Nadia, Jayden, Navin, Alvin, Kimora, Davin, and Camilla.

Family and friends meet daily at Holy Family Basilica starting at 5:00 p.m.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on 2nd September 2026 for a memorial service at Holy Family Basilica at 3:00 p.m.

The funeral service and burial will be at our ancestral home, Lupida Village, Namable Constituency, Busia County, on 5th September 2026.
