It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Alice Wambui Kuria (Wa Muthua), which occurred on 3rd Sep 2026 at St. Anthony Catholic Hospital Nakuru

Daughter of the Late Norman Macharia and Late Jane Nyambura Muthua of Kihoya in Rwathia, Kangema, Murang’a and step daughter to Loise Wanjiru.

Wife of Late Kuria Kamonjo.

Mother to Hannah Wanjeri, Jane & George Kimani, Jacob Macharia, James & Virginia Ngari, Daniel & Grace Murathi, Late Mary Wanjiku, Abel Nyota and Peter & Angela Muriu.

Sister of late Reuben Murathi, late Esther Wanja, late Abel Nyota and late John Ngai.

Step Sister to late Monica Wanja, Peris Wanjiru, late Dorcas Nyambura and Sarah Wangari.

She was a proud and nurturing grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence in Kanjau Village, Ngorika, Ol Kalou for prayers and funeral arrangements starting 3:30 PM.

There will be meetings at All Saints Cathedral Nairobi from Monday to Wednesday the 7th to 9th of September 2026 from 5 PM, and a memorial service on Wednesday the 9th of September at PCEA Nairobi west Parish from 4.30 PM.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home Nakuru on Friday 11th September 2026 at 8 AM.

The funeral service and burial will take place at her home in Kanjau Village, Ngorika, Ol Kalou from 10 AM.

She was a gift from God, now safely returned to His care.
