It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Honorable Lt.Col (RTD) Gideon Sitelu Konchela EGH OGW former MP Kilgoris Constituency of Narok County, Kilgoris, Olalui Location who went to be with the Lord on the 12th June 2026.
He was the beloved son of the late Tina Ole Konchela and the late Murda and Kisinyinye.
He was the loving husband of Hulda Konchela and a devoted father of Naleke, Montet, Tawari, Masiyoi, Masola and Risa.
He was a father-in-law of Moses, Amelia, Paul, Kovi and Naserian.
He was a loving grandfather of Gabriel, Tyler, Ariel, Malaika, Attara, Teinam and Salomea.
He was a brother of Mako, the late Stephen, Wilson, Benjamin, Job and many others.
He was a loving uncle, cousin, friend and mentor to many.
Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at Nairobi Club from 5.30pm.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday 18th June 2026 at 10.00am at Nairobi Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be held in his Olalui home on Saturday 20th June 2026.
