It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Charles Kitavi Mulwa, which occurred on Friday, 12th June 2026, after a short illness.
He was the loving son of the late Henry Mulwa Mwendwa (Sola) and the late Esther Mulwa (Syomangole). He was the beloved husband of Agnes Kitavi and a devoted father of Joseph Kang’ethe, Stacy Koki, Lydia Kitavi, Alex Mulwa, and Alex Kali.
He was a proud grandfather of Keziah, Peace, Karen, Joel, James, Victoria, Sonie, Warui Jnr, Leon, Precious, and Brighton Kali.
He was a beloved brother of the late Kivaya Mulwa, the late Queen Makau, Kali Mulwa, the late Safari Mulwa, Dr. Kennedy Ngumbau Mulwa, Beatrice Moi, Mumbi Ng’ethe, and Peter Mangole.
He was a cherished nephew of Hon. Nyiva Mwendwa, the late Hon. Ngala Mwendwa, the late Hon. Kitili Mwendwa, the late Hon. Kyale Mwendwa, the late Mang’uye, the late Masai, Nyamai, the late Mutie,Grace, Lydia, Rhoda, the late Manzi, the late Kathyindi, the late Mbevo, the late Munguti, the late Mutia, the late Musyoki, the late Kasee, the late Kasomo, the late Kavili, the late Kaveva, among others.
He was a cousin of Kavi, Maluki, Koki, Kalunda, Katindi, Peter, Loice, Joyce, Mwikali, Mulwa, and the late Mwende, among others.
He was a father-in-law of Patricia and Mercy, and an in-law to the Kavivya family.
Funeral Arrangements: Daily family meetings are ongoing from 5:00 p.m. at the Public Service Club,Lounge hall, Upper Hill, Nairobi, and at his home in Kitui.
The late Charles Kitavi Mulwa will be laid to rest at his home in Mulundini Village, Mutendea Sub-location, Kitui County, on Saturday, 20th June 2026.
The funeral service will be held at KM Sino Campsite beginning at 11:00 a.m.
