It is with humble acceptance of God’s Will that we announce the demise of David Mirera Waci (Saleh) of Kahiga Village, Nyeri County which occurred on 6th October 2026.

Son of Rose Wairimu Waci. Husband of Caroline Gathoni Mirera. Father of Rose Wairimu Mirera, Luvai of Afreximbank, Egypt and Kevin Muriithi Mirera.

Grandfather of Ari Azenga and Kenshi Mirera. Son-in-love of Margaret Waruguru and the late Mathenge Thuo. Father-in-law of Calvin Luvai Azenga of Standard Chartered Bank.

Brother of Paul Wachi, Perpetua Wanjiku and David Wamae, Damaris Wangui and Jacob Maina, Charles Muiga and Rose Njuguini, Edward Maina and Irene Topoika and the late Nancy Njoki. Brother-in-law of Dr.Thuo Mathenge, Esther Waithiegeni, Jackson Irungu, Elizabeth Wanjugu, JB Mathenge, Wilson Ngunjiri, Charity Wamuyu and the late Josphat Maina.

Uncle of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting at his residence, Kamiti Corner.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Thursday, 15th October 2026 at 8am followed by Funeral service at St Michael Catholic Church, Otiende at 10.00am followed by burial at Langata Cemetery.
