It is with heavy hearts that we announce promotion to glory of Joanne Nduta Kihori, Municipal Manager – Kiambu Municipality, County Government of Kiambu.
She was the daughter of the late Stephen Kihori Njuki and Eunice Priscillah Wangari Kihori.
She was a sister of Njuki Kihori and Esther Wanjiku. Mother of Jacqueline Priscillah Wangari, Shalom Steve Gitonga, Grace Rose Muthoni and Nathan Victor Mutugi.
She was an aunt of Esther Yeko Kingori, Lydia Nawire Munuhe, Jabalani Kihori Njuki and Nyilan Mageria Njuki.
Family and friends are meeting daily at The Mark Hotel, Ruiru starting from 5pm. There will also be a fundraising event on Wednesday, 14th October, 2026, at 5pm at the same venue.
Memorial service will be held at Ridgeways Baptist Church on Thursday 15th October 2026 from 10am followed thereafter by a candle lighting ceremony at the Kiambu County Headquarters from 3.00pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday 16th October 2026 at Tumutumu Girls High School Grounds from 10.00am and thereafter interment service at the family home, Ndabibi village, Tumutumu.
