It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we the Sisters of Mary of Kakamega do announce the passing on of Sr. Mary Teresita Nasambu Wanjala.
She was the daughter of the late Mzee William Wanjala Mwanja and Mama Antonina Nyekeri Wanjala of Netima Village, Siboti Sub-Location, Kanduyi Location, Bungoma County, Kibabii Parish Bungoma Diocese- Kenya. A loving sister of Pandaeli Wanjala, Lenard Wanjala, Benard Bukura, Charles Namukhalondo, Electina Nafula, Catherine Nawmira and Everylna. Niece of Victoria Navamkale and Maurice Makokha. A loving aunt of Roinl Wanjala, Nicholas Wanjala, Catherine Juma and Juliet Wanjala. Cousin of Joseph Simiyu and Charles Naliaka.
The cortege leaves Saint Elizabeth Mukumu Funeral Home on Tuesday 13th October, 2026 to SMK St. Augustine Mukumu at 3.00 PM for Requiem Mass at 4.00 PM. Thereafter Vigil Masses at the same SMK Chapel. The burial Mass will be held on Wednesday 14th October, 2026 at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Mukumu Parish thereafter Burial at SMK Mukumu Cemetery.
