It is with profound sadness, grief and heavy hearts that we announce the passing on of Mr. Joshua Kipngeno Rono, Director Kimori Academy, Kimarwandi Progressive and Kobel Mission Schools, which occurred on Tuesday 22nd September 2026.
Son of the late Mr. Stephen Koskei and the late Mrs. Rael Koskei of Kobel village, Cheptalal Location, Konoin Constituency, Bomet County. Brother of Sally Mutai, John Rono, Recho Tonui, Christine Kirui, Andrew Rono, Lucy Rono, Pius Rono, Winnie Langat and Benard Rono.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kimori village. There will be a fundraising on Wednesday, 30th September 2026 at his home Kimori village.
The cortege leaves Litein Mission Hospital Funeral Home on Friday, 2nd October 2026 for a night vigil at home in Kimori.
The final send-off will take place on 3rd October 2026 at Kimori village, Sasetta Sub Location, Mogogosiek Location, Konoi Constituency, Bomet County.
