We regret to announce the sudden passing of Wilson Mwaura Mungai, who was a Trainer- Hospitality, Fashion and Cosmetology Department at the Kiambu National Polytechnic (KINAP).
Son of Stephen Mungai and Sarafina Wangui Mungai of Murang’a County, Husband of Margaret Wambui Mwaura and father of Sarafina Wangui Mwaura. Brother of Elizabeth Wanjiku, Joseph Kamau, Evaline Wairimu, David Nyutu, Edward Mburu, James Gitangu and Daniel Mbau. A dearly loved cousin to many.
Friends and family are meeting daily at his Residence Ruiru near OJ connection Roundabout and at the Family Home in Murang’a County, Murang’a south, Subcounty, Ichagaki Ward, Gatuduini Village from 6:00 PM for prayers and funeral arrangements.
There will be a memorial service and candle lighting at Kiambu National Polytechnic on Wednesday 8th July 2026 from 2:00pm.
The cortege will leave the Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home (Thika Road) on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 7:00 AM.
The funeral service and burial will be held on the same day at the family home in Gatuduini village Ichagaki Ward, Maragua Constituency, Murang’a County, starting at 10:00 AM.
