It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Walter Tembu Mulama Olembo which occurred on 23rd June, 2025.
Grandson of the late Saul Paul Mulama Olembo, the late Margaret Mulama Olembo, the late Joseph Khayiya and the late Elizabeth Khayiya and Anna Khayiya.
Loving son of the late Geofrey Mulama Olembo, Rachael Carol Atamba and Florence Mulama.
Loving brother of the late Saul Paul Mulama Olembo, Hycinth Mulama, Kevin Mulama and Angella Tsisiga.
Uncle of Aiden Geoffrey Olembo Mulama. Nephew of Lydia, Rose,Valerie, the late Nelson, the late Joel, the late Jamin, Eddah, Grace, Manoah, Shikuunzi, Palapala and Geofrey.
Cousin of Issa, Jerry, Margaret, Melanda, Maya, Tatalee, Eliana, Michael, Lydia, Elizabeth, Zwena and many others.
Until his demise, Walter worked at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology.
The cortege leaves Kakamega County Funeral Parlour on Thursday, 10th July 2025 for an overnight stay at their home in Lurambi, Kakamega.
Thereafter, the cortege shall proceed to the final resting place at Wanakhale Village, Emuhaya Sub-County,Vihiga County on 11th July 2025.
Walter shall be laid to rest on 12th July 2025.
Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him.
