It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Stephen Chirchir Kiplangat of Kenya Pipeline Company PLC (PS 9), who died on 6th October 2026 at Nairobi Hospital after a short illness.
Stephen was the son of the late Kipchirchir Laboso and Pauline Laboso of Kapsabul Village, Bomet East. Loving husband of Lilian Chirchir of the National Bank (Nairobi), and a doting father of Walter Kiprotich and Dr. Francy Chemutai.
He was a brother of Richard Chirchir, Frederick Chirchir, Ann Laboso, Joel Chirchir, Alice Cherotich, Sarah Chesang, Joseph Chirchir and Andrew Chirchir.
Nephew of Arap Maritim, Taputany Chebaituk and Tapulei Kirongoz. Uncle to many.
A memorial service will be held at CITAM Embakasi on Thursday 15th October 2026 at 8:00 am. There will be a Harambee at his home in Kamara, Nakuru County on Thursday 15th October 2026 at 3:00 pm.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Nairobi, on the 16th at 8:00 am for a night vigil. The burial will take place on Saturday, 17th October 2026 at his home in Kamara, Nakuru County.
May the Almighty God grant him eternal rest.
