It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of Mr. Simon Jason Wekesa, who served as a Chief Economist at the State Department for Housing and Urban Development. He passed away on Tuesday 22nd September, 2026.
He was the beloved husband of Emily Aloth Odongo and a devoted father of Femi Breinhard Wekesa, Tessa Makayla Wekesa and Gloria Anyango.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, off Mbagathi Way for Bungoma County on Friday 2nd October, 2026. A short service/body viewing session will be held at the funeral home at 6:00 am before departure.
The burial will be held on Saturday 3rd October, 2026 at Namwesi village, Sitabicha Location, Bungoma West Sub County.
