
It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely passing of Sheila Jepkorir Chebii, beloved daughter of Mr. Samuel Chebii Kiptanui and Mrs. Linah Tanui, which occurred on 17th May 2026 in Sydney, Australia.
Sheila was a loving and cherished daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was the beloved sister of Jaselyn Chebii, Amos Chebii, Winnie Chebii, and Hezron Chebii.
She was a treasured aunt of Trevor, Camille, Myles, Ruby, and Tau, and a beloved sister-in-law of Reuben, Chero, and Evans.
Sheila was a bright, hardworking, and ambitious young woman who touched many lives through her kindness, humility, and determination. She had recently been admitted to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting at the Canterbury Institute of Management in Sydney, Australia.
She will be remembered for her warm heart, beautiful smile, and unwavering dedication to her family, and the hopes and dreams she carried for the future.
Her passing has left an immeasurable void in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
A requiem service will be held at AIC Fellowship, Eldoret on 18th of June and the funeral service and burial will take place on Saturday, 20th June 2026, at Chemworor grounds, Marakwet East, Elgeyo Marakwet County.
