SAMSON MOMANYI KIRIAMA

In humble submission to God’s will, the family of Samson Momanyi Kiriama, fondly known as Mose, is saddened to announce his passing on 20th March 2026, following a brief but courageous battle with illness.

Born on 15th November 1957 in Nyakongo Village, Gesima Location, Nyamira County, he was the second-born son of the late Zablon Kiriama Ogeto and the late Norah Kang’ina Kiriama, and a son-in-law of the late Monyancha and the late Hellen. 

He was a devoted husband of Martha Kemunto, a loving father of Zablon, Brian, and Norah, and a proud grandfather of Calvin, Didan, Dylan, Kemunto, and Kyle.

He was also a cherished brother of the late Saul, the late Gideon, the late Andrew, Rudia, Monica, Esther, Martha, Samuel, Karen, Joyce, the late Eva, and Alice; a brother-in-law of Milka, Jelia, Nyabate, Joyce, Bibiana, Gesembe, the late Machogu, Simon, Mkutu, Mokua, Bonuke, Ondieki, Okeyo, Gori, and among others. He was an uncle of Justice Omido, Oriago, Marion, Alex,Wilbur, Babu, Beryl and among others; a cousin and a friend whose kindness touched many lives.

A memorial service and burial will be held on 3rd April 2026 at his homestead in Nyakongo, Kisii.

A fundraising meeting will be held on 31st March 2026, from 5:00 p.m. at City Hall Court, Nairobi.

Samson will be fondly remembered for his gentle spirit, resilience, and unwavering care for family and community.
