It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Dr. Dominic Shukrani Kenga, on 25th March 2026 at Avenue Hospital Nairobi, after a short illness. Dr. Kenga was a Lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Finance, School of Business at Technical University of Mombasa.
Dr. Kenga was a beloved son of the late Kenga and Sidi Chai; a devoted husband of Caroline Shukrani; and a loving father of Reign Amana Shukrani.
He was a cherished son-in-law of Stanley and Catherine Thuranira, a dear brother of Furaha, Hamisi, George, Amina, Sineno, Salome, Katana, Fatuma, Rehema, Karembo, and the late Neema.
He was a dear cousin of Nasoro, Sammy, Modi Ali, Abel, Mwanaisha, Damaris and Jackson amongst others.
Brother in-law of Patrick and Vickie Thuranira and also a treasured uncle to many.
Family, friends, and well-wishers are meeting daily at his residence in Kisimani, Freetown, Mombasa, for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The burial will take place on Thursday, 2nd April 2026 at his father’s home in Nyare Village, Sokoke, Kilifi County.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
