He was the beloved husband of Jane Wakonyo Munyoroku.
Loving father of Matilda Wangui Munyoroku.
Son of Ignatius Gitonga and the late Dores Wangui.
Son-in-law of Charles Waigwa and Cecilia Muthoni.
Brother of the late Charles Gitari, Alfred Kimondo, Sofia Nyawira, Ann Muthoni, Philip Githerya, the late Janerose Wanjiru, Esther Karungari and Grace Wambui.
Brother-in-law of the late Margaret Wangui, Ruth Wanjiku, Joseph Wainaina, Bernard Githuku, Hannah Ringa, Justus Mwangi, Samuel Kamau and Boniface Wachira.
Uncle, Cousin and Great friend to many.
The cortege will leave Mathari Funeral Home, Nyeri, on Friday 16th October at 7:30 AM, followed by a funeral service from 10:00 AM at their home in Ciara-ini Village, Kandara Sub-location, Nyeri County.
