It is with profound sadness we announce the passing on of Rachael Mumbua Kilonzo on 5th October, 2026.

Wife of the late Wilson Kilonzo Ndunda of Tala, Matungulu. Daughter of the late Mungali Mulee and the late Esther Kake, sister of the late Mwongeli Nthumbi, the late Munyao Mungali, the late Nzisa Mungali, the late Mwengesi, the late Nzula, the late Musau, the late Nduku, and Monicah Munyao, the late Mutisya, the late Mwikal (Kanyolu), the late Mwanika, the late Kavin King’oo among others.

A loving mother of Josephine and Titus Gichuru, Naddy Nzilani, the late Janet Weddy, Jennifer, Beth, Eunice and Jane. Grandmother of the late Lily, Mako, Nduku, Ndaru, Mathenge, Mugure and Ngai, Caren and Maina, Sharon Nzisa, Annette Mwende and Lussi, the late Morris Kala, Wilson Kilonzo, Daniel Muthini, Moses Mungali and Alice Mumbua.

Great grandmother of Tiffany, Travis, Makara, Makena, Luana, Gichuru, Maya, Nemy, Kanda and Timy Aunty to many. Sister-in-law of the Kanyuu Family, Kala family and Mai family. The body is lying at Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home (Nairobi).

The burial will take place on 14/10/2026 at Tala, Matungulu.
