Appreciation & Thanksgiving Message

With sincere gratitude, we, The Family of Professor Raphael Munavu, extend our deepest appreciation to every person who stood with us through this season of loss and remembrance. Your kindness in presence, in support, in prayer, in word and in deed – held us when we could not hold ourselves.

He kept telling us to “be bold.” Not goodbye – be bold. Even then, he was still pushing us forward. It was so like him.

We received your support in his spirit: not as charity, but as the human solidarity he spent his life building. Whether from the local leadership of Kangundo who honoured his roots, his colleagues at the universities and parastatals where he served, the government he dedicated decades of counsel to, or friends and family near and far – you came. That meant everything.

Your generous contributions, your presence at the service, and your messages of comfort remind us that a life lived in service returns – abundantly – in the moment of greatest need.

Kenya is more educated and more ambitious because Professor Raphael Munavu walked this earth. We pledge to carry his legacy forward – with the diligence, humility, and boldness he modelled every day.

May the Almighty richly repay your kindness with good health, lasting peace, and abundant favour in all that you do.

Thank you

FIDELIS MUTUA & RAPHAEL SUNDIATA MUNAVU
and the entire Munavu family
