It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Professor Phillip Tito Okoth Raburu of University of Eldoret on 28th September 2026.
Beloved son of the late Wellington Raburu Sagwe and the late Joyce Raburu of Mtingo Village, Kadibo Sub-County, Kisumu County and son-in-law of late Hosea and late Ann Oluoch Obare of Barding Village, South East Alego, Siaya County.
Loving husband of Dr. Elizabeth Awuor Raburu of University of Eldoret. Devoted father of Jessica, Eugene, Steve and JoyFaith. Father-in-law of Quinter and Bethuel.
The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 7am followed by a requiem service at ACK St. Matthew’s Cathedral Eldoret, and thereafter proceed to ACK St. Paul’s Mtingo, Kisumu County.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, 10th October 2026 at Mtingo Primary School, Kisumu County from 8:00am, followed by burial at his home in Koyuga Village, Rabuor, Kisumu County.
