We are saddened to announce the death of Prof. Odeck Aloys Ayungo of Uyoma Kobong’ Gagra.
He was the son of the late Leonard Ayungo Oyuu and the late Magdalene Aoko Chikombe. Loving husband of Dr. Christine Mwajuma Odeck of Maseno University.
He was a brother of Nicholas Obonyo, the late Regina Ogola, late Wilbroda Odongo, late Christopher Owenje, Benta Obota, Mary Mito Benta Ayungo, Beatrice Ogongo and Mary Tiger.
A loving father of Leonard Ayungo, Magdalene Aoko, Francisca Achieng and Ken Reagles Saka.
He was a grandfather of Kiana Nduta Kashu and Alex Aloys Jnr. He was a darling uncle to many nieces and nephews.
His final rites will be held on Friday the 16th of October 2026 in Uyoma Kobong’. Friends and relatives are meeting at his residence in Ojola village in Kisumu West.
