We regret to announce the death of Mombasa businessman and politician Peterson Mitau, who died on 28/8/2026 in Mombasa, following a battle with cancer.
He was the son of late Joseph Mitau and Belita Kalekye Mitau.
Devoted husband of Juliana Kalamba Mitau.
Loving father of Susan Mitau, Anne Mitau, Joseph Mitau, Christine Mitau and Ronaldo Mitau.
Father-in-law of Col. Alfred Charo and Maryanne Nababinge.
Cherished grandfather of Adriana Love, Arianna Marie, Avant Mitau Jr, Abram Milo, Peterson Tafari, Amaria Madzo, Josiah Joseph and Athalia Kalamba.
He was brother of the late Margaret, late Michael, Mary, Anna, John, Susan, Veronica and late Syombua.
A requiem Mass will be held at St Joseph Catholic Church, Tudor, on 10/09/26 from 9:30 a.m.
Burial will take place in his rural home in Kitui Central Constituency, Mutuni village, on 11/09/2026.
