It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the passing of Mzee John Munyi Njine (Chief) on Thursday, 1 October 2026.
Mzee Munyi was the son of the late Solomon Njine and Annah Wambiro Njine.
Beloved husband of Jane Marigu Munyi.
Loving father of Polly Muthoni Gicovi, Lucy Wambesi Munyi, Peter Njagi Munyi, Catherine Wanja Murithi, Nicera Wawira Gichuki and Grace Mutitu Munyi. Father-in-law of Susan Nyambura Njagi, Jacob Muthithi Nyagah, Nimrod Gichuki and the late Nazario Gicovi.
Prayers and funeral arrangement meetings are being held at 3:00 pm at the family home in Runduni Village, Kangaru, Embu County.
Burial: Mzee Munyi will be laid to rest on Thursday 8 October, 2026 at his home in Runduni Village, Kangaru, Embu County.
