It is with humble acceptance that we announce the death of Mzee Fredrick Muthuri M’rukaria (VV) of Mwanika Village, Kathita Sub-location, Katheri location, Abothuguci Division, Meru Central Sub-County in Meru County.
He was the beloved son of the late M’Ibutu M’Mbui and the late Zipporah Ngari M’Ibutu and step son of the late Salome Mwari M’Ibutu.
He was the brother of Elizabeth Karoki Kigunda, Margaret Kathure Mwebia and Francis Mugambi M’Ibutu and step brother of the late Paul Mworia M’Ibutu, Nathan Kamunya M’Ibutu and Martha Mboya Murianki.
Mzee Fredrick Muthuri M’Rukaria (VV) was husband of Monica Nchekei Muthuri and father of Daniel Kinoti (Director Times U Sacco) & Agnes Karoki, Mary Kirumba (Jacaranda Maternity) & John Evanson Kinyua (Evama Eye Care), Jane Kathure & Henry Kathurima (HT. Kamiti Primary), Samuel Kimathi, Mercy Kendi (Safaricom PLC) & Lt. Col. Constantine Kuwirua (KDF), Julius Kirimi (Office of the Auditor General) & Caroline Wambura (Meru School).
He was grandfather of Dennis Munene, Hillary Kimathi, Tracy Makena, Boniface Murithi, Mark Kathurima, Ronny Mutwiri, Sultan Mutuma, Leo Koome, Ethan Murimi, Nailah Nkatha, Austin Mwenda, Astria Nkirote, Liam Muthomi and Alexis Nkatha.
Meetings for burial preparations are being held daily from 5.00pm at Royal Prince Hotel, Meru Town and at his Home in Ntirimiti.
The cortege will leave Cool Breeze Funeral Home on Saturday 20th June 2026 to his Home in Mienjera Village, Ntirimiti for Holy Mass and burial rites.
