It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Mwalimu Francis Nyaga Njiru which occurred on Sunday 6/9/2026 after a short illness bravely borne.
He was son of the late Samuel and Hannah Njiru.
Loving husband of Richarda WanJira Nyaga.
Father of the late Anne Maina, Muchiri Nyaga, (NPS Hqs), Winfred Wanjiru (Kirinyaga Trch’s Housing Co-op), Lydia Wambura (Positive Produce Farm), Justin Muriithi (Jasm Flowers), Lucy Nyaguthii & Mary Boutere (Jasm Flowers) – Netherlands.
Father-in-law of Symon Maina (Thika), Hellen Macharia (Vigilance House), Patrick Miriti (Kianyaga S/County Hospital), Nancy Muthoni & Alex Boutere (Netherlands).
Grandfather of Wambui, Njeri, Sharon, Mark, Bryson, Levin, Jayden, Lincoln, Ryan, Nick and Kendi.
Great grandfather of Dravin, Dylan & Hadasha.
The cortege leaves Mary Immaculate Catholic Funeral Home – Kerugoya on Saturday 12/9/2026 for mass at Githage Primary School Grounds followed by interment at his home in Githage.
