It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mr. Thomas Mbaria Wachira, which occurred on Monday, 7th September 2026.
He was the beloved son of the late Michael Wachira Kanja and Consolata Wanjiru Wachira.
He was a loving husband of Prisca Waithera, a devoted father of Consolata Wanjiru, Lt. Col. Ann Nyambura, Michael Wachira, Salome Waithera, and Jayden Mwangi, and a cherished grandfather of Savana Waithera.
He was a brother of Fr. Patrick Kanja, Salome Mucheru, Flora Mwanki, Lucy Wanjiku, Peter Karori, John Ngururi, Dr. Joseph Thiongo, and the late James Muchunu, Bernard Kige, and Stephen Kabubi.
Until his demise, Thomas was working at the MCC Defence Headquarters Sports in Nairobi as a Kenya Navy Warrant Officer I.
Daily Meetings: Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Matangi, Kimbo, starting from 5:30 p.m.
Burial Date: The cortege will leave Nairobi on Wednesday, 16th September 2026, for the funeral service and burial at his rural home in Gichaka Village, where the late Thomas will be laid to rest.
