MR. GERARD MUTHAMIA – Funeral & Burial Details Kenya

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing on of Mr. Gerard Muthamia who rested in the Lord on 6th October 2026.

Mr. Muthamia, a teacher and headmaster in many schools. Started at Muitu Mwiru Primary – Kaaga, Kururu Primary Kanyakine, Kionyo Primary, Kithangari Primary School, Murungurune Primary School and finally Machikine Primary School.

He was a loving husband of the late Julia Igoki. Son of the late Magret Kaimuri & Timothy M’Mburugu Kioga, late Martha, late Rhoda & Jane Nyambura. He was a son-in-law of the late Katura & Judah Ngururi and late Jennifer Judah.

He was a loving father of Ruth Kuria, late Bildad Mwirigi, Anne Muthamia, and Dorothy Mutegi, Janet Mugambi & Felix Kimathi.

Father-in-law of Dr. Nelson Kuria (CIC), Joseph Mutegi, Mugambi Elijah and Lydia Kimathi. Brother of the late Josephine Mungania, late Charity Kiirigia, late Agnes Mischek, Salome Kaburu, Ephanthus Gikunda, late Faith Rinkanya, late Charity Kaunange, Japheth Kiugu, late Silas Kiibu, John Mboya, Rosemary Mburugu, Chege Kithinji, Gichunge, Kagendo, Karoki, Paul Mwembu, Eunice Timothy Rebecca Ruria, Wanja, Pastor Timothy Gikunda and Kithinji.

Brother-in-law of late Esther Gituru, late Agnes Machuguma, late Grace Kiirigi, Silas Muthamia, Margret Silas, Gikunda Judah Mburu Kian among others.

He was a grandfather of Cynthia, Caroline, Julia, Timothy, Kinoti, Gakii, Mwiti, Kawira, Kanyua, Nthaka, Makeri, Eric Muthamia, Kigora, Kinya & Mwenda. He was a great grandfather to many.

Family, relatives and friends are meeting at Karen, Ruth & Kuria’s residence and at his home Kionyo South Imenti Meru.
