She was the beloved wife of Jeremiah Kimani Wambugu of Wambugu Emporium Thika Town.
Mama Wambui was a loving mother of Elder/ Teacher Maggie Gitau ( PCEA Toll Parish), Joseph Gitau ( Oloitoktok) Elizabeth Kimani (Arc Africa Ltd) Jane Kimani Ndungu & John Ndung’u (USA), Johnson Wambugu (Del Monte Kenya) & Catherine Nyambura (Cate Gas), Benson Wambugu, Pharis Karanja & Florence Karanja (UTI Thika), Francis Ndichu, the late Jennifer Wanjiru, Eunice Muthee (Riverside Thika), the late Gitonga, Daniel Mungai, Mary Wairimu Njenga (Ngoingwa Thika), and Moses Kioi.
She was a cherished grandmother of Maryanne Wanjiru, Sam Mundia, Abigail Wanjiru, Ariana Wanjiru, Liam Ngugi, Kelsie Wanjiru, Kelson Kimani, Kayson Njenga, Njoki, the late Gituamba, Wangari, Karani, Munene, Turi, Wangari, the late Kimani, Njoroge, and Alex.
Family and friends are meeting daily at the family residence in Ngoingwa Classic starting from 5:30 PM.
The cortège leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Kabati on Wednesday, 27th May 2026 for church service at PCEA Ngoingwa Church, Thika from 10:00am and thereafter burial at the family’s rural home in Kiunyu Village, Kihumbuini Division, Gatanga Constituency, Murang’a County.
