It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of our family matriarch, Mama Mary Nyangweso Nyamwamu which occurred on Saturday August 29th 2026 at Coptic Hospital Nairobi at the age of 96.
Loving daughter of the late Herodion Kebati and the late Priscah Bisimba of Nyagiki, Bobasi.
Beloved wife of the late Mwalimu Johnson Nyamwamu of Bomachoge Chache, Sengera Ward Nyabioto Village, Kisii County.
A cherished mum of the late advocate Charles Okari, the late Fred Onyiego, Elizabeth Marubi (Rtd), Fridah Kemunto (Rtd), Dorcas Kerubo (Rtd), Kennedy & Moses, Andrew (Interior), Isabel (KIMC), Norah (KTDA), Beatrice (Agriculture), George and Jane (NIA).
Grandmother and great-grandmother to many.
Meetings are being held daily at Ongata Rongai (Andrew Nyamwamu’s residence) and mama’s home in Nyabioto Village, Kisii County.
A fundraiser will take place at Professional Center on Tuesday 8th September 2026 starting at 5:00 p.m. The burial date will be announced later.
