It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Wangui Njoroge Mburu, who passed on 2nd August 2026 at Metropolitan Hospital, Buruburu.
She was the beloved wife of Stephen Njoroge Mburu.
Devoted mother of John Mburu, Kenneth Kiarie, Peter Muchina, and Cynthia Wangut.
Mum-in-law of Crystal Chantel.
Cherished grandmother of Tacari Kiarie and many other grandsons and granddaughters.
A loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Joyce was the beloved daughter of Kenneth Kiarie Njoroge and the late Margaret Njeri Kiarie.
She was a dear sister of Winnie Wanjiru, Lucy Wambui, the late Moses Njoroge, Eunice Waceke, Sarah Wangari, Grace Waruhiu (USA), Lillian Njoki, Mary Wangari, James Karanja, and Justus Gakuna.
She was a cherished sister-in-law of Margaret Nyakio, Peter Muchina, Solomon Mwaura, Jane Njoki, Joseph Kago, the late Njanja, the late Karungari, and Lucy Wangari.
Her body is lying at the Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital Mortuary, Kahawa West.
The cremation service will take place at Kariokor Crematorium on Saturday, 15th August 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence in Runda Evergreen Estate from 6:00 p.m. for funeral arrangements.
