JOHN OLE SUNYAI – Funeral & Burial Details Kenya

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, the late John Ole Sunyai formerly an employee of the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA). His demise has left a deep void in the hearts of his family, relatives, friends, and all who knew him.

John was born in 1969 at Oleng’oruani Village, Olereko Sub-location, Shankoe Location, Kilgoris Division, Trans Mara West Sub-County, Narok County. He was the son of the late Sironka Nyere Sunyai and Paraaku Ene Sunyai. He was also a stepson of the late Narikunkera Ene Sunyai, Loice Markia Sunyai, and Narikulmarani Ene Sunyai.

He was the devoted husband of Charlene Namutie Leboo and loving father of Namunyak Sunyai, Wilkins Sironka Sunyai and Leina Saruni Sunyai.

Siblings and step-siblings John was a cherished brother and stepbrother. His siblings included Naiswaki Nairenke, William Piyapi Sunyai, Christopher Okingu Sunyai, the late Ntecee Magiro, Jackson Leparan Sunyai, Nikuruni Sunyai, Margaret Shaai, Samson Kanasa Sunyai, and Nelson Lekakeny Sunyai. His step-siblings were Chief Gideon Ole Sunyai, the late Sidai Sunyai, Narikunkera Naigeyo, the late Koyojo Sunyai, Johnson Parasol Sunyai, Joseph Kirionki, Ann Musere, Moses Omoei, Thomas Leipeta Sunyai, Jenifer Koko, Elizabeth Semeyoi, Arani Nikoline, Kortom, Margaret Emey, Emil Kitor, Joshua Pteyyo Nyeerre, Lilan Sekoo, Ednah Ng’enta, Arami Napajui, David Nyereere, Renoi Naiguta, Sankale Sunyai, and Naisiriria Sunyai.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Nairobi home in South B at 4:00 pm.

The cortege will leave Mater Hospital on Thursday, 15th October 2026, at 11.00 a.m. for a requiem mass at CITAM Valley Road, Nairobi. The body will be transported on 16th October 2026 to his matrimonial home at Leipolos Village, Kilgoris Constituency in Narok County. The burial will take place on Saturday, 17th October 2026, at his matrimonial home in Kilgoris.
