It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of John Evans Njuguna of Rutumo Village, Malewa Location, Nyandarua County.

Son of the late Gerishon Kinyanjui and Miriam Wairimu.

Husband of Stella Kahaki Njuguna.

Father of Esther Wairimu, Hellen Wambui, Nancy Wanjiku, David Kinyanjui, Janet Wanjiru, Jennifer Gathoni and George Njane.

Brother of Stephen Muna, the late James Mbugua, Patrick Muraya, Esther Wanjiku, the late Julius Kiarie, Agnes Waceke, Rahab Wangari, Beatrice Wanjiru, Agnes Waceke and the late Hannah Muthoni.

Father-in-law of James Wainana, Angela Muthoni, Hezron Korir, and Mary Muthoni.

Son-in-law of the late Shadrack Njuguna Karucha, and the late Loise Wambui Njuguna.

Brother-in-law of the late John Gathiongo, the late Janet Wanjiru, Joseph Wainaina, Wilson Muiruri, Jennifer Wanjiku, the late Elizabeth Nyathira, Charles Ngugi, Mary Magiri, the late Samson Ngaruiya and Josephine Wairimu.

Nephew of the late Haman Muraya and the late Bilha Waceke.

Cousin of Haman Muraya’s Children (Mangu) & Bilha Waceke (Othaya).

Family and Friends are meeting at his home in Rutumo Village, Kipipiri Constituency in the afternoons. Meetings in Nairobi will be held on 28th – 29th July at All Saints Cathedral from 6:00 p.m.

The cortege leaves JM Funeral Home Ol Kalau on Friday, 31st July 2026 at 8:00 a.m.

The funeral service and burial will take place at his home in Rutumo Village, Malewa Sub-Location, Nyandarua County starting from 10:00 a.m.
