It’s with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Jennifer Wambui Mugo (Mama Kaka) of Nairobi, Buruburu phase 5, Konokono court, at the age of 71.
She was a loving wife of William W Mugo and a devoted mother of Waithaka Mugo, Nina Wangui and Evelyne Waruguru.
She was a beloved daughter of the late Leonard Kanyi and the late Evelyn Waruguru.
A nurturing grandmother of David, Elijah, Wanjiru and Waiyego.
Family and friends are gathering for daily prayer meetings and burial preparations at the family’s residences in Buru Buru phase 5 and at PCEA Makadara from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A memorial service will take place on Thursday 10th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at PCEA Makadara Church where she was an active member of the Women’s Guild.
Her interment will be held on Tuesday 15th September 2026 at her rural home in Gatugi, Othaya, Nyeri County; the service will be held at PCEA Gatugi starting from 10:00 a.m.
