It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we celebrate the life of Jane Waithira Githinji who passed away on Wednesday, 8th July 2026.
Jane was an Examinations Assistant at the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC).
Daughter of the late Joseph Githinji and Gladys Wambui and daughter-in-law of the late Simon Peter Gikonyo and Lilian Wanjiku Gikonyo.
Loving wife of Martin Mwangi Gikonyo and devoted mother of Lilian Wanjiku and Brian Gikonyo. Grandmother of Khing Lior. Mother-in-law of Emmanuel Jakoyo.
Sister of James, Mary, Stephen, Samuel, Julius, Catherine, Susan and Paul and a sister-in-law of Nancy Wangui, John Gakuo and Timothy Maina. She was a cousin, aunt, grandmother and friend to many.
A memorial service was held at ACK Christ the King, Kenyatta Road on Monday, 13th July 2026.
Family and friends meet daily at her residence on Kenyatta Road, Amazon 3 Estate from 7.00 pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Kabati for the funeral service on Thursday, 16th July 2026 at ACK Kenya Njeru, starting from 11.00 am, followed by the burial at the family home in Mihuti, Kenya Njeru, Kangema Sub County, Murang’a County.
