With deep love and cherished memories, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, on Saturday, 12th September 2026.
Isaac was the devoted husband of Martha Kajiuju Mwobobia, loving father of Caroline Kanorio, Joy Kanyua, Juliet Kathure, and Tennyson Gitonga, father-in-law of Douglas Wakihuri and Arnold Nderitu, grandfather of Lorna, Mercy-Anna and Martha, son of the late Mathiu M’mburugu and Zipporah Mathiu, son-in-law of the late Dominic and Petronilla Kungania, and brother of the late Nancy Thuranira, the late Nafali Nteere, Esther Kaaria, Lawrence Mathiu and Ann Mwiti.
He held his family together, and will be missed beyond words. Family and friends meet on Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th September from 5:00 p.m. at his home, Jamhuri Estate, Nairobi. Your presence would be a great comfort.
The funeral service and burial will be on Friday, 18th September 2026, at his rural home in Kithirune, Meru County.
