It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Irene Chepkemoi Terer, which occurred on 27th April 2026.
Loving wife of Newton Terer. Devoted mother of Sharon Terer, Moreen Terer and Calvin Langat; and cherished daughter of Henry and Esther Kauria.
She was a sister of the late Edwin Rono, Benard Rono, Florence Bett, Beatrice Cheruiyot, Patrick Rono, Jackline heruiyot and Caroline Koech.
Daughter-in-law of the late Kipkoech Arap Keino and Sarah Keino.
Sister-in-law of Esther Mitei, late Alice Chepkoech, late Sylvester Terer, Alfred Terer, Jackson Terer, Nelson Terer, Lilian, Leonard Terer, Vincent Terer, Lily, Beatrice, Nancy Rono, Lawrence Bett, Geoffrey Cheruiyot, Clara Rono, Jedidah Rono, Peterson Cheruiyot and Evans Koech.
Mother-in-law of Oliver Owalla and Raymond Sewe. Loving grandmother of Noah and Jasmine Owalla.
Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence in Kipchebor Village, Kericho, for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 6th May 2026 at Zion Gardens, followed by burial at Terer’s residence in Kericho.
