It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Elizabeth Mabuti (Mama Rosa) of Kathata Village, Kabare Location, Kirinyaga County, on 02/06/2026.
Mama Rosa was the beloved daughter of the late Obadiah Ndiga and the late Mary Wanjiru Ndiga.
Loving mother of Roseline Wambui Mbugi and Antony Wachira Mbugi.
Mother-in-law of Monicah Wachira and a Loving Mentor of Lemisos ole Nampaso.
She was a cherished grandmother of Evalyne Murugi Njeru, Betty Wanjiku White & Troy White, John Lewis Abade, Keith Mbugi Wachira and Precious Wanjiku Wachira, and proud great-grandmother of Logan Lachlan White and Fredrick Lewis White.
She was also a dear relative and friend to many whose lives she touched with love, faith, wisdom, and kindness.
Funeral planning meetings are being held at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, on 8th , 9th & 10th June 2026, and at her home in Kathata Village, Kirinyaga County.
The cortege leaves Kibugi Funeral Home on Friday, 12/06/2026 at 10:30 a.m. for a funeral service at ACK St. Peter’s Kathata Church, Rukenya Parish, followed by interment at her home in Kathata Village.
