It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Komen Kapsowe, who was a teacher at Jomo Kenyatta Girls High School, Nakuru. She passed away on 24th July 2026.
She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Kimutai Lesiew.
She was a devoted mother of Erick Kipkemboi Lesiew, Maurine Chepkoech Lesiew, and Nicholas Kipngetich Lesiew.
She was the daughter-in-law of the late Francis Kiprop and Ruth J. Kiprop.
Sister-in-law of Mary Jepkoech Too, Peter K. Kiprop, Anne Francis, Lucy Jepkemoi Francis, Beatrice Jerotich, Sara Jerono, William Sambu, Cynthia Chelimo, the late Mary Kesendany, Hellen Kuto, Joseph (Kap Kosabei) Kipkogei, the late Patrick Kibet, Stephen Wanjala, and Timothy Cheruiyet.
She was the loving daughter of the late Paul Kapsowe Chepkirwok and the late Ann Kimoi Chepkirwok from Kabarnet.
She was a cherished sister of Caroline, Magdalene, Geoffrey, Henry, Moses, Ednah, Robert, Fr. David, Anthony, Gregory, Lawrence, Johnson, and Francis.
In-laws: She was a sister-in-law of Anyesi, Philip, the late Nelly, Mary, Florence, Sarah, Caroline, and Zainabu.
Requiem Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Burnt Forest on Friday, 7th August 2026 at 1:00 p.m.
She will be laid to rest at her matrimonial home in Burnt Forest on Saturday, 8th August 2026.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
