It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Elder Oliver Kianga Kingoina, which occurred on 30th July 2026 after an illness bravely borne.
He was the son of the late Simion King’oina and the late Yobensia Moraa.
Son-in-law of the late Samuel Makana and Mariam Kwamboka.
He was the beloved husband of Isabella Mokeira Kianga.
Cherished Father of the late Elijah Gwaro, Kennedy Omayio, David Nyakundi, Lucy Kerubo, Dorcas Gesare, Calinael Mwango, Charles Onchong’a – Bob and Kepha Nyangena.
Loving grandfather of Emman, Kwamboka, Ebby, Mark, Oliver, Lilian, Agnes, Wayne, Rayan, Miriam, Winnie, Rolex, Cynthia, Claire, Michelle, Lewis, Decra, Denzel, Sammi, Jeremy, Liam, Brandon, Sanchez, Moraa, Dylan.
Great-grandfather of nine.
He was a brother of Onsongo and Mageto.
Loving father-in-law of Fred Asuma and Victor Okemwa.

The cortege leaves Kisii Training & Referral Hospital Mortuary on 20th August 2026 for a funeral service at his home in Kiong’ongi-Mekonge Village, Nyabworoba Sub-Location, Sensi Location, Marani Sub-County, Kisii County, followed by burial on Friday, 21st August 2026.
The family appreciates the prayers, love, support and condolences received during this difficult period.
