It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Edwina Aoko Ochuka, of Nyahera, Kisumu County, who peacefully rested on 26th October 2025 after a long illness bravely borne.
Born to the late Jacob Ochuka Asiri and the late Elizabeth Omolo, Edwina lived a life marked by love, strength, and grace.
She is survived by her devoted son George Onyango, her cherished grandchildren Christian and Jeremiah, and her loving daughter-in-law Isabella Onyango.
Edwina was a beloved sister of Robert Angwech and Dorothy Okech, and sister of the late Grace Odhiambo, Gladys Aduda, Elphas Oyuga, Jennifer Ochuka, and Francis Obunga.
She will also be fondly remembered by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith touched all who knew her.
To help us offset the hospital bill and give her a dignified send-off, we will be holding a harambee (fundraiser) on Saturday, 8th November 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi.
