It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dr. Jacqueline Atieno Oluoch of Havertown, PA, on the morning of Sunday, August 23, 2026.
Jackie graduated with both her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Upon graduating she worked for the Philadelphia School District in her capacity as a School Psychologist. She was a passionate advocate for children’s educational and developmental needs. In her free time, she was an avid reader.
Jackie is survived by her loving mother, Catherine Oluoch (Kenya); and her sisters, Caroline Matheka of New Castle, DE and Christine Oluoch of Media, PA.
The body arrives in Nairobi on 17th September, proceeding to Kisumu and then to the family home in Madungu on Friday 18th September for prayers/vigil. Burial will take place on Saturday 19th September 2026 at the family home.
