It is with deep sorrow and humility that we announce the promotion to glory of Cecilia Wanjiku Njoroge on 05/09/2026 while undergoing treatment at Coptic Hospital, Nairobi.
Cecilia Wanjiku Njoroge was the loving wife of Michael Njoroge Mugo.
She was the mother-in-law of Mary Wambui Mwangi and Samuel Kamau.
She was grandmother of Kieran Njoroge & Christopher Myles Mugo Wanjiru, Adrianne Wanjiku & Atarah Teresah Wanjiku Mugo; Arama Imani Akemela, Amelia Pendo Wanjiku & Austin Baraka Lumumba Bulinda; and Ivana Cecile Wanjiku, Bakitha Grace Wambui & Rita Joy Mumbi Kariuki.
Family and friends are meeting today for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home in Nyahururu, Marmanet, Sirion at 3:00 p.m. and Breeze Hotel, Nyahururu town at 6:00 p.m.
A memorial mass will be held today, Friday 11th September 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
The cortege leaves Pope Benedict Funeral Home in Nyahururu tomorrow, on Saturday 12th September 2026 at 9:00 a.m. A Requiem Mass will be held at Thiru St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. and her interment later at 2:00 p.m. at her home.
