It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Cecilia Wangari Murigi that occurred on Sunday, 27th September 2026.
She was the daughter of the late Joel Mwaura Kibe and Naomi Njoki Mwaura. Wife of the late Francis Murigi.
Mother of George & Mary Wainaina, Terry & Justus Kamau, Agnes & Bernard Rege, Patrick & Joyce Mwaura, Thomas Ngugi Murigi, Jacinta and Geoffrey Kinuthia.
There will be a requiem mass daily at her Gatanga home starting at 3:00 p.m.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home – Kabati on Saturday, 3rd October 2026 at 8:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, Gatanga starting at 10:00 a.m., thereafter, interment at her home in Gatanga Village.
