Ms. Catherine Wanjiru Wamae went to her eternal rest on Monday 13th April, 2026. She left us just as she lived: calling the shots to the very end.
Throughout her life, she was fiercely independent, loved a good bargain, and had a magical way of making even the most reluctant bureaucracies shift into gear.
She touched the lives of everyone she encountered, more so through her travel work at Gundua Safaris Ltd.
She hailed from Githumu Sub-location, Ruchu Location, Kandara, Murang’a County.
She was the first-born child of the late Mr. Willy Paul Wamae and the late Mrs. Monica Wamae. She was a devoted mother of Michael Muli.
A beloved sister of the late Paul Wamae, Caroline Wangari, Jackline Njeri, and Edwin Mwangi.
Daily meetings will be held at All Saints’ Cathedral in Nairobi on 17th April, 2026 5.00pm, 18th Apr 1.00pm and 20th April, 2026 5.00pm.
The memorial service will be communicated during the meetings.
A fierce business lady who lived life on her own terms.
