CAROLINA NJERI KABIRU – Funeral & Burial Details Kenya

(1932 – 7th October 2026)

We regret to announce the death of Carolina Njeri Kabiru on 7th October 2026.

She was dear wife of the late Philip Kabiru Nguru. She was the beloved daughter of the late John Karanja Wa Kaburu and Wanjiru Wa Kaburu. She was a dear sister of (all late) Petrina Wangari Nguru; Florence Wandera Gachira; Michael Gichane; Mary Wamuyu Thiongo; and Peter Kariuki.

She was mother of Irene Muchangi; Alex Ngunu; Peter Karanja; Matias Ndonga; Ancinta Mwiti; the late Felicina Ngunjiri; Michael Gichane; Vincent Macharia; the late Gabriel Kariuki and Petrina Njuguna.

She was dear mother-in-love of the late Stephen Muchangi; Miriam Ngunu; Irene Karanja; Priscilla Ndonga; Simon Mwiti; Margaret Gichane; Philipa Kanana; and Joseph Njuguna.

She was an aunt, a grand-mother, great grand-mother and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the family home in Mugeka village, Gaturi, Muranga. Nairobi family and friends will be meeting on Tuesday 13th October and Wednesday 14th October for prayers and funeral arrangements at Holy Rosary Catholic Church – Ridgeways-Kiambu Road starting 5.30 pm.

There will be a requiem mass on Thursday 15th October at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, Ruaraka at 2.00 pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home-Kabati on Friday 16th October at 9.00 am.The funeral service will be held at Queen of Apostles – Gaturi Catholic Church (along Muranga – Kiriani road) Muranga County starting at 10.30 am.
