It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Anne Kemunto Onchera which occurred on 30th June 2026. Until her death, she was working at the State Department for Housing & Urban Development, Slum Upgrading Department as a Senior Housing Officer.
She was the daughter of Charles Joseph Nyabayo Onchera of Kenya Power and Lighting Company and the late Getrude Menyuri Okong’o.
She was a sister of Zachariah Nyabayo Onchera, granddaughter of the late Mzee Zachariah, late Mama Maria Nyabayo, late Mzee Ford Anthony and Mary Anthony Okong’o.
She was a niece of Richard, Kennedy, John, Maxwell, Robert, Hezborn, the late Irene, Nicolus, Obadiah, Mellen, Moige, Lindah, the late Pascali, Jemmimah, Regina, Philomena, Lydiah, Gladys, Bwari among others.
Cousin of Jacob, Biese, Maureen, Kingsley, Barongo, Petronillah, Bravin, Vivian, Zacharia, Anthony, Winston, Benjamin, Moraa, Nyabayo, Nyachoti, Bradford, Mitchell, Ashley, Tiara, Ethan, Siena, Myles, Liam among others. She was a loving friend and colleague to many.
Meetings are being held daily at her residence at Naivasha Road.
Final requiem mass in Nairobi will be held on Wednesday 8th July 2026 at Montezuma Monalisa Funeral home (Raila Odinga Way). From 10.00am to 1.30pm.
The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on Thursday 9th July 2026 at 8am to the family home in Kisii (Kegati) and burial will be held on 10th July 2026 from 9am.
