It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we, the family of Prof. Laban Peter Ayiro, announce the passing of our beloved Mum, Agnes Malesi Ayiro, on 21st September 2026 at Avenue Hospital, Nairobi. She was daughter of the late John Shivogo Amwoga and Mama Magdalena Ingosi Shivogo.
Wife of Prof. Laban Peter Ayiro, Vice-Chancellor, Daystar University. Mother of Nelson, Marlene, the late Lillian, Edwin, Ruth, Allan and Moses. Grandmother of Joshua, Sifa, Wema, Esther, Peter, Israel, Jabali, Midika, Ngiriemu, and Hannah.
The memorial service will be held on Thursday 1st October 2026 from 10:00 a.m. at Daystar University Main Campus Athi River.
The burial will take place in Soy, Lumino Village, Likuyani, on Saturday, 3rd October 2026.
