It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved Humphrey Obadiah Ayoti.

Humphrey was the beloved husband of Agnes Moraa Maobe and the loving father of Jibril Ayoti.

He was the cherished son of the late Samuel Ayoti Bwocha and Monica Bochaberi Ayoti; beloved brother of Beatrice, the late Jennifer, the late Obwaka, Nyandega, Bwocha, Jackie and Christabel; treasured son-in-law of Simon Maobe and Phyllis Nyambeki; and a beloved brother-in-law, uncle, relative, colleague and friend to many.

Humphrey lived a life of service, integrity and compassion. He touched many lives through his warmth, generosity, humility and unwavering friendship. Though his sudden departure has left a great void in our hearts, his memories will forever remain with all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends continue to meet daily in Nakuru and Nyamira as they prepare for Humphrey’s final send-off. The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru, on Thursday, 23rd July 2026, for an overnight vigil at his ancestral home in Riechieri Village, Nyamira North Sub-county, Nyamira County.

The funeral service and interment will take place on Friday, 24th July 2026, at his home in Riechieri Village, Ekerenyo Ward, Nyamira North Sub-county, Nyamira County, where family, relatives, friends and colleagues will gather to celebrate his life and accord him a dignified farewell.
