It is with the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden and untimely death of Michael Aloyce Mbeka Aguda, formerly of the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSME Development.
Mbeka was the beloved son of the late John Aguda and Marcella Aguda of Reru Village, Kisumu County.
He was a devoted husband of Mercy Gona Mbeka and a loving father of Marcella, Esther, Stephanie (Annabel), Musa Alifred and Treasa.
He was a cherished grandfather of Sharmani, Jabari, Melody, Elijah Smith, Evie-Mai, and Enzolames.
He was a devoted brother of Gertrude, the late Lewtina, the late Antonina, the late Florence Oluoch, Florence Githieya, Linus, Karoli, Agatha, Daniel and Paul.
He was son-in-law of the late MeGona, and brother-in-law of the late Winnie, Caroline, Alfred, George, Benson, Churchill, Milly, Caroline and Cyprian. He was also a beloved uncle & grandpa to many.
Michael Aloyce Mbeka “MAMAS” Funeral arrangements are currently ongoing at his residence in South C, Mugoya, Muhoho Avenue, from 5:30 p.m. daily and at his home in Reru Village (Seme) Kisumu County. He will be buried on 24th July, in Reru Village. (Seme) Kisumu County.
A memorial service will be held at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church – South C on 22nd of July 2026 at 3 pm.
The cortege will depart from Montezuma Funeral Home for Reru, Seme-Kisumu County on the 23rd July 2026.
To offset the pending hospital bills and cover funeral expenses, a funds drive will be conducted on 17th July 2026 at the All-Saints Cathedral – Kenyatta Avenue from 4:00pm and on the 19th July 2026 at his home in Reru, Seme – Kisumu County.
