He was son of the late Stephen Tunya Omunyo and the late Nereah Tunya. Loving husband of Marie Tunya.

Brother of the late Jackton Odhiambo, Barrack Otieno, late Isaac Opondo, late Jane Oyier, Rhoda Anyango and Amos Oduor.
Cousin of Joyce Odhiambo, Wycliffe Onyango, Bon Omunyo, Eric Onyango, late Dr GK Onyango, Shadrach Tieng, Dan Okoth, Betty Ronga, Peter Lee among others.
Brother- in-law of Millicent, Jennifer, Brigid, Judith, late Collins, Victor, Alice, Daughty, Sheba among others. Sange of late Charles Okello and Abraham Oloo. Beloved uncle of Veryn, Lorraine, June, Anthony, Corn, Steve, Jerry, Mark, Maurine, Christine, David, Nelly, Brian, Evans among others.
He was son-in-law of George Were and Agnes Were (both late) of Gem Sipoklo.
Funeral arrangements are taking place every evening at his Nairobi residence situated at Life City Apartments, Tebere Crescent, Kileleshwa, and at his home in Yiro Sigulu, Ugunja.
Farewell prayers will be held at the All Saints Cathedral Nairobi on Thursday, July 23 at 10.00am
There will be a fundraiser meeting to defray hospital bills and funeral expenses on Thursday 16th July 2026 at All Saints Cathedral Hall from 5.00-8.00pm.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Friday July 24 2026 for the final journey to his home in Yiro Sigulu, Ugunja where burial will take place on Saturday July 25 2026 from 10.00am.
